Outside Events

February 27 + Create Your Own Photo Book. Using free software, you’ll design your own photo book for your own use, for gifts, or even for sale. Learn easy techniques and more advanced methods. You'll need a laptop computer and photographs you have taken in the past to create your book. Photographer/instructor Chuck Kirchner will contact students prior to the 1st session with software download instructions.

April 16 + Photo Composition & Creativity. Photographer/ instructor Chuck Kirchner will  explore with students the elements of composition, photographic rules and breaking rules, and ways of sparking and engaging your creativity. All camera formats welcomed, and you should have some familiarity with your camera’s settings.

May 19 Secrets Of Shooting Raw. In this hands-on workshop digital guru Mark Fitzgerald explains the theory behind raw digital capture and then teaches you the best workflow for processing raw files in Photoshop as well as in Lightroom. If you’re new to shooting raw, this workshop ensures you start out on the right foot. If you’re already shooting raw, you’ll find out how to get the most from your raw files. Students need to bring their raw-capable camera and a laptop with either Photoshop or Lightroom installed.
