Club Competition Images

Competition web galleries: We've been posting images at this site since 2003. You'll find there not only competition images but a few galleries submitted by individual members and images from club photo shoots starting in 2011. Competition images that are submitted for digital projection are automatically posted the Club competition galleries -- unless the owner has specifically asked that they not be; those submitted as competition prints may also be posted on the web galleries if the author submits a digital version to the webmaster.

You can access the main ("root") gallery here and any of the individual sub-galleries from or via the following links:

If you submit competition images as prints, you are welcome to submit the digital sources of those images by e-mailing them by or before the competition submission deadline, and we'll take care of posting them. (They won't be posted if you submit them after the projection image submission deadline, Friday midnight.) All you need to do is format and name them exactly as if they were for digital projection, according to the guidelines for digital projection. Then mail them to the webmaster. Important: Mail them to the webmaster, not to the projectmyimages address.

The Club galleries are, as you'll discover, at a gallery hosting site by the name of PBase.com, which invites the question: How can I put a gallery of my own on the web? Well, here are some suggestions.

Members' Own Web Galleries

If you'd like to have galleries of your own on the web (it can help you promote your images to family and friends), there are many hosting sites that will support that for you. In addition to PBase, some of the other popular hosting sites are SmugMug, PhotoBucket, ZenFolio, and Flickr. The price of a PBase account is $23 per year, for which you get 1 GB of photo space -- plenty for a few thousand images of the size you'd want to post there. The idea, then, is that we'll post a link to your site here so other Club members can look at it.

It's generally easy to set up one of these galleries. One of the people who have galleries of their own can probably provide help with setting up a gallery at their gallery host.
