The Bainbridge Island Photo Club (BIPC) was organized as a non-profit in 1999 on Bainbridge Island, WA, in Kitsap County. A few people wanted a place where they could share what they know and don’t know about photography, and thereby improve their skills and enjoyment. They were right. Those who have been around since the early days will claim that the quality of the Club’s photography has improved over the years.
The Club now numbers about 50 members, most of whom are now doing digital photography. Our monthly general meetings are held in Huney Hall at the Waterfront Park Community Center, 7:00 to 9:00 PM on the second Wednesday every month. Please view our Events page for more details.
On odd-numbered months, we conduct competition and sharing meetings where members submit images they would like to display and have judged by other club member or simply reviewed.
